Welcome to the Backwood Bay Bungalow!
Just 1 mile, or a 15 min walk to the Delaware Bay Beach - known for the best sunsets, or just a quick drive to either Cape May or the Wildwood beaches. Spend time outside on the deck, or hanging out in the shade of the back patio, catching some of the areas best birding, and enjoying the sounds of nature in the woods. It's truly the best of both worlds!
Our 2 bedroom, one bathroom 700 sq foot Bungalow is small, but loaded with everything you and your family needs for a week down the shore. We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood, backing the New Jersey Audubon Society’s Fulling Mill Sanctuary.
About the space
Our home is newly renovated, and has a fully stocked kitchen that has all of the essentials to cook inside, or out. The living room, backyard and covered patio provide plenty of space to gather as a group or spend some time alone.
The primary bedroom has a queen bed, and the secondary room has a twin over full bunk bed, as well as a pac-n-play for those with littles. A smart TV hangs in the bunk room, as well as in the living room. The sofa in the living room also pulls out into a queen bed if needed.
**Sheets and bath towels are included with your stay. We ask that you bring your own beach towels, please.
Other things to note:
The Bayshore Sportsman Club is close by, and may be heard during the day.

My small family of four had a wonderful stay at Kristin’s bungalow. It was everything we love about airbnb. The house is so serene and thoughtfully decorated. The backyard so peaceful. Really, the backyard space is amazing. I enjoyed relaxing out there in the mornings and the evenings. The kitchen has everything you’d need to cook or grill - we enjoyed dinner out on the back patio one night - with the cafe lights so nice. The beds were all super comfortable as were the couches- outdoor and indoor. We had a perfect long weekend in the Cape May area. If you go, be sure not to miss the breathtaking sunset at nearby bay beaches!!! 🌅
